Each nest is meticulously purified through a five-tier cleaning process, effectively filtering out feathers and impurities to deliver unmatched purity and quality.

Classification of the raw birdnest

Raw bird’s nests are classified by hair density—light, medium, or heavy—to guide cleaning and ensure consistent product quality.

Cleaning the surrounding debris

In the first cleaning stage, workers remove large debris and thick feathers to make it easier for the next team to pick out the finer hairs.

Hand-picking the impurities

Traditional picking methods include dry, semi-dry, wet, and semi-wet techniques. Each is chosen based on the nest’s cleanliness level, using only RO-purified water throughout the process.

Shaping and moulding

The bird’s nest will be sent to the shaping room for shaping and moulding because the shape of the bird’s nest will be deformed after the picking process.

Genuine Bird’s Nest

Check the Color

Authentic bird’s nest naturally appears ivory white or slightly yellowish with a semi-translucent sheen. Its glow is soft and natural. Fake or bleached nests often look unnaturally bright white or dull with no luster.

Smell the Aroma

Real bird’s nest in dry form carries a faint egg-white aroma, which becomes more noticeable after soaking, sometimes mixed with mild woody or oceanic notes. Fake nests may have a fishy odor, a sharp chemical smell, or an oily scent.

Feel the Texture

Dry genuine bird’s nest feels light and crisp, with distinct fiber structures. Adulterated nests may feel heavier or overly rubbery. After soaking, gently rub the strands. Real nests are elastic and remain intact, while fakes quickly turn into a paste.

Observe During Soaking

High-quality bird’s nest, once soaked, separates into fine, distinct strands without becoming mushy or cloudy. Fakes may appear flaky, have unclear fibers, or cause the water to turn murky.

Burn Test

Lightly ignite a small piece. Genuine bird’s nest emits a protein-like roasted egg aroma and produces minimal smoke. Fake nests, containing added substances, may produce black smoke, a crackling sound, and a pungent smell.
